Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt will not host a reception, but rather have an intimate wedding on July 5 at his residence in Bandra: Report

Aamir Khan is all set to marry his girlfriend Gauri Sprat on July 5, marking his third wedding. Unlike the grand celebrations he hosted for the 25th anniversary of Aamir Khan Productions, which launched with Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Lagaan’ in 2001, the actor opted for a private and low-key ceremony this time.Aamir and Gauri will register their marriage at the actor’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai. The couple is expected to hold a small wedding during the first half of July 5, attended by only immediate family members and a close circle of friends, Screen reported. The ceremony is expected to have special meaning as all four children from Aamir and Gauri’s previous marriages will play a role in the celebrations. These include Aamir’s children, actor Junaid Khan and businessman Ira Khan, from his first marriage to Reena Dutta, his son Azad from his marriage to director Kiran Rao, and son Gauri from her previous marriage.Aamir and Gauri first met in Bengaluru through the actor’s cousin Nuzhat Khan. After dating for almost a year, Aamir introduced Gauri to the media as his partner ahead of his 60th birthday celebrations in March last year. Since then, the couple has been living together at his house in Bandra.Last month, Aamir confirmed that he will marry Gauri on July 5.Before joining Aamir in Mumbai, Gauri worked with one of the leading hair care brands in Bengaluru.

She is now associated with Aamir Khan Productions and helps the actor in the work of the production house. When previously asked if marriage was on the cards, Aamir responded with his trademark humour, saying, “Iss umar mein shaadi karna mujhe shobha nahi deta (It’s not right for me to get married at my age),” before adding that he feels “settled” with Gauri now.
