The Indian Navy warship INS Trikand foiled a piracy attempt on a merchant ship in the Gulf of Aden on Wednesday afternoon (July 1).

Indian Marine Commandos (MARCOS) later boarded the damaged ship, MV Golden Arsenal, which had an Indian crew member on board.
