Sadie Sink got the role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day without an audition; He reveals that Tom Holland made her feel welcome on set

Stranger Things star Sadie Sink has revealed how she landed her mysterious role in Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Unlike other talents who have to go through long audition processes, the actress revealed that she got the lead role in the film “without an audition.”In an interview with Nylon, Sink said she was offered the role after previously working with director Destin Daniel Cretton on the 2017 drama “The Glass Castle.” Interestingly, the actress did not even get the script until she arrived in London for the shoot on the first day of the schedule. She also stated that the script has been postponed in an attempt to keep details of the film under wraps.Cink also praised co-star Tom Holland for warmly welcoming her to the set. “It was interesting to step into this space and still be a little weird in that way, but it couldn’t have been more welcoming, and the whole crew in general,” she said.

“He was very relaxed and open, and I felt very comfortable,” she added.Speaking about joining one of Hollywood’s biggest franchises, Cink said: “I knew Marvel was a big deal and had a big brand, especially Spider-Man. I know there’s a huge fan base, but it feels really big. I think these blockbusters are a whole different beast.”Marvel has kept details about Sink’s character a secret. The actress, who started promoting the film with the cast last month, also avoided revealing her character.

Meanwhile, rumors claim that Sink has been cast as an X-Man in the upcoming fourth “Spider-Man” film led by Holland.Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters on July 30. He also stars in the film
