Marriage speculations about Kriti Sanon often hit the headlines, but her brother-in-law and singer Stepin Ben believes the actress should never feel pressured to settle down. In a recent interview, Stepien said that Kriti has earned the right to make this decision on her own terms and should only get married when she feels she is completely ready.
“She deserves the freedom to decide.”
When asked if talks about Kriti’s marriage are taking place within the family, Stepien revealed that while people often raise the topic, he would rather support her than join the discussion.Speaking to Galatta India, Stepien said, “People talk about this because after the younger sister gets married, everyone starts asking why the elder sister doesn’t get married. But I never discuss it with Kriti, and whenever the topic comes up, I stand by her.”
She is doing exceptionally well in her career. “For a girl to come from a small town and build such a big identity for herself on her own is a huge accomplishment.”He added that marriage should only take place when the individual feels certain.“I think she should have her time and freedom. When Kriti feels that she has found the right person and thinks it is the right time to get married, she will take that decision. There is no need to rush at all.”
Stepien also said that there should be no age limit attached to marriage.“Whether someone gets married at 20, 30, 35 or even 40, it doesn’t matter. You should only get married when you are absolutely sure. Why rush into something so important?”Kriti has been rumored to be dating London-based businessman Kabir Bahia since mid-2024. While neither of them has officially confirmed the relationship, they have been frequently spotted together during vacations, family gatherings and public events, including Nupur Sanon’s wedding celebrations.
Recently, rumors of Kabir’s breakup surfaced after Kabir was seen with another woman. However, Kriti seems to have put an end to the speculations by sharing a cozy picture with him on Instagram, creating a huge buzz around their relationship.
