Matt Smith lends his voice to a gripping and intense murder mystery.

Dragon House The star will tell wolf, An immersive three-episode romance story for Quinn’s audio app, Hollywood Reporter Can be announced exclusively.

For the drama, Smith will play cunning private investigator James Pierce’ who travels to a centuries-old villa on Lake Como to find Gregory Barclay, a ruthless American billionaire who has disappeared without a trace. When James arrives, he discovers that his real client is Rosalind, Barclay’s beautiful new wife, and that everyone in Barclay’s glamorous inner circle has something to hide. James tries to keep the case professional, but his growing attraction to Rosalind jeopardizes the investigation.

Smith narrates directly to the listener, who assumes the role of Rosalind.

wolf It is a dangerous, exciting and seductive murder mystery. “The listener is dropped into a very magical world,” Smith says in a statement. “I think this series is for anyone who likes a good murder mystery, and also likes a bit of eroticism in murder mysteries.”

“Matt has an amazing ability to make you empathize with even his most complex characters, which made him the perfect person to guide listeners through this story,” says Carolyn Spiegel, founder and CEO of Quinn.

Taking on the role was an “interesting challenge,” says Smith. “There’s a great team around you at Queen. I think there’s something really liberating about telling a story in this way, in this format, and in this tone.”

In typical Quinn fashion, the app impressed Smith as a social media storyteller. In one post, the app shows a stuffed dragon wearing pink Quinn headphones with the caption: “The Rogue Prince is coming to your headphones.” (Smith plays Prince Daemon Targaryen in the film Dragon House.)

Following its launch in 2021, Cowen in particular began enlisting Hollywood talent last year to help share audio thrills that “feel friendly and not creepy.”

Described as “made by women for the world”, Hollywood stars who have told the thrilling stories include Chris Breheny, Andrew Scott, Manny Jacinto, Tom Blythe, Jamie Campbell Bower, Victoria Pedretti, Jessie Williams, Lucien Laviscount, Thomas Doherty and Katherine Moennig, Hot rivarly Stars Hudson Williams, Connor Story, Costa D’Angelo, Tyreek Weathers, Sean Hatosy and Off campus Stars Mika Abdullah and Steven Kalin.
