Mel Gibson’s 2004 hit scripted drama returns to theaters in September, ahead of its follow-up. Resurrection of Christ Hit multiplexes starting in May 2027.

Lionsgate and Fathom Entertainment have announced a nationwide re-release of the biblical epic from September 10-17, remastering the box office hits from the original 4K camera negative.
