The 2026 BET Awards will be handed out Sunday night.

The BET Awards, hosted by comedian Drusky, airs live at 8pm ET/PT from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on BET and other Paramount Networks including BET HER, CMT, Logo, MTV, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount, Pop, VH1, Comedy Central and TV Land.

Heading into the show, Cardi B leads all nominees with a total of six mentions, followed by Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist with five mentions each. Other major nominees include Doechii, Doja Cat, Clipse, Teyana Taylor, Olivia Dean, and Latto.

This year, BET added two new categories: the Fashion Vanguard Award and the Pulse Award. The Fashion Vanguard Award will honor “a global figure whose presence in fashion has had a long-lasting cultural impact, significantly influenced style narratives and continues to elevate fashion as a form of storytelling across music, film, sports and public life,” while the Pulse Award will recognize “a creator, campaign or content series that has made a powerful contribution to moving Black culture forward in digital spaces by sparking conversation, building community, and defining the moment online.”

BET will also hand out special awards to three honorees: Teyana Taylor will receive the Icon of the Year Award, legendary music impresario Sylvia Rhone will accept the Ultimate Icon Award, and Lauryn Hill will receive the Living Legend Icon Award.

Performers are scheduled to include Cardi B, Common, Duet, Don Tolliver, French Montana and Max B, Jill Scott, Kehlani, Queen Latifah, Rick Ross, T.I., The War and Treaty, Keon, Alexia Jay, Ari Lennox, Baby Kim, BJ the Chicago Kid, Durand Bernard, Erica Campbell, George Clinton, Leandria Johnson, Nas, Rapsody, Ray and Pete. Amplified artist Kenny Echo.
