As more shocking details about the case emerged, the security guard of Lohagad Fort revealed more details about the case. The guard, Dheeraj Jadhav, was among the first people to respond upon hearing Sia’s screams after Ketan, 26, fell from the fort. He informed the police after Siya told him that Ketan had fallen from the fort. Jadhav said the girl was screaming, “Help, help,” NDTV reported.

“I came running after hearing screams. I asked Siya Goyal what happened and she said ‘yaha se koi ger gaya hai’ (someone fell from the fort). I immediately informed the police,” Jadhav was quoted as saying, adding that he was at his workplace when he heard screams.

He reportedly ran towards the spot where Siya told him someone had fallen, without providing further details. Then call the police.

The murder case has sent shockwaves across the country, with Sia’s family also breaking their silence and calling for strict action against the perpetrators.

Sia’s father demands strict punishment against the accused

Her father, Praveen Goyal, remembers their close relationship, saying he became so attached to him that he considered him a son. Speaking about the case, he said the tragedy had devastated everyone involved.

“Sia never expressed her dissatisfaction with the wedding. Since the match ended, she has always been happy. She has always spoken about Ketan. If they (Ketan’s parents) had informed us even slightly that something was wrong, we would have spoken to them,” he told news agency ANI.

The father said: “Let the maximum possible punishment be imposed on the murderer. From the fortress where Ketan fell, the accused, even if it is my daughter, must be pushed down.”

Mother says Siya doesn’t want to go on a trip

However, her mother claimed that she was hesitant about going to the Lohagad Fort trek with Ketan a day before his murder, saying that their conversation about the plan was part of the chat log.

Pooja Goyal, Sia’s mother, said that the night before the accident, Sia and Ketan had a video call during which they discussed the trip. She said that when Ketan’s mother joined the call, Sia told her she did not want to go on the trip, but Ketan’s mother encouraged her to accompany him.

“This conversation is there in their conversations. Siya said she didn’t want to go, but Ketan was trying to convince her otherwise,” Pooja said.
