The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Star Miranda Hope is embarking on a new career.

Hope, 28, is the first MomTok member to officially release music. On Friday, the reality star released her debut single, “FU4THAT,” which marks the beginning of her country music career.

“You gotta commit to your madness, the only thing you’re committed to is infidelity,” are some of the lyrics of the song. “I’m better and I know it, but you’re the one in charge. I shouldn’t sugarcoat it today. Fuck you for that.” (Listen to “FU4THAT” here.)

The song focuses on taking back your power, choosing yourself, and moving forward without looking back. In a recent interview with entertainment tonight, Hope talked about what inspired the track.

“It was written with the intent of the men who abused me. There are clearly some pointed lines toward my ex-husband.” She was married to Chase McWhorter for seven years until the couple announced their divorce in 2024. They have two children.

She also alluded to at Fans may see the behind-the-scenes recording process in Season 6 of the series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

However, production on the fifth season of the series, which follows a group of Mormon influencers, was paused in March amid controversy surrounding fellow MomTok member Taylor Frankie Paul, and resumed the following month, though a release date has not been announced. Hope joined the show in season two.

In a statement previously shared with Hollywood Reporter At the time of the song’s announcement, Hope said: “Getting into music feels like a natural next chapter for me. I’ve spent the last few years building a platform through television and social media, but music has always been where I’ve felt the most connected to myself. This release represents a new challenge, a new audience and an opportunity to share a different side of my identity.”
