I read thousands of comments saying I was done as an actor, and for a while, that was true. I wanted to fight back, and give my hundred percent to this film.”

“Honestly, I didn’t know if I could sell a single ticket,” Samantha said. “We made our budget back before the release, and anything beyond that was a bonus. What a bonus it turned out to be.”Director BV Nandini Reddy also spoke about Samantha’s reaction. She said that the “Koshi” actress found it difficult to believe that people had accepted the film so well.
According to the director, Samantha believed the success only after seeing the audience response a few days after the release.
