At the event, the Bollywood star spoke candidly with fans about his life, his journey in the film industry and also delighted many by sharing the story behind one of his most iconic childhood photos.Speaking to the cheering audience, Shah Rukh Khan pulled out the iconic picture, which shows him as a little boy sitting in a bucket, with his hair up and soap on his cheek. Opening up about the story behind the cute picture, he shared, “Although it may seem inappropriate now, because my poor son is without clothes. This is the only picture I have from my childhood, which is in Mangalore, with no clothes in a bucket.”

Although Shah Rukh Khan was born in New Delhi in 1965, he spent his early childhood in Mangalore. The actor and his family reportedly resided there until he was five years old.Shah Rukh Khan’s visit comes amid the filming of the movie King. The actor will be seen in a brand new avatar, for the action thriller, where he will be sharing the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time. The film will also see him collaborating with an ensemble cast consisting of Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji and many more.The film, which is said to be in the final stage of shooting and post-production, will hit the big screen on December 24.
