‘Vida’ Creator Tanya Saracho Reteams with Starz for ‘The Wolf King’ Romance Novel

Starz re-collaborates with… Vida Creator Tanya Saracho to develop a new romantic series.

Starz announced Thursday that it has acquired the production rights to the Lauren Palphreyman film The wolf kinga steamy romantic fantasy that follows a princess who is kidnapped and held captive by a “depressed alpha werewolf” in the midst of war. Starz has picked up a Palphreyman sequel Night princealong with the upcoming third book in the series, The wolf queen.

The series finds Aurora, “abducted from a world that treated her as a decorative pawn, revealing her wild powers,” according to the series synopsis. “Trapped in a deadly love triangle, she is thrust into a war between the human race and her monstrous captors, forcing her to decide whether she is a prize to be claimed or the master of her own destiny.”
