With Welcome to the Jungle set to hit theaters tomorrow, Akshay Kumar has teased audiences and critics about the film’s plot in a typically sarcastic manner.

Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram story ahead of the film’s June 26 release, where he made a hilarious appeal to reviewers.

“Critics and influencers please replace star ratings with laughing emojis.” It’s a light-hearted installment that perfectly captures the comedian’s spirit, he wrote.The message went viral on social media, with fans expressing their appreciation for the actor’s sense of humor and building excitement ahead of the release.

Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome to the Jungle features one of the biggest ensemble casts, which includes Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna. ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is the third installment in the popular ‘Welcome’ series. The original ‘Welcome’ was released in 2007, starring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Feroz Khan and Paresh Rawal, and was directed by Anees Bazmee.The sequel, Welcome Back, followed in 2015, with John Abraham and Shruti Haasan stepping in to replace Akshay and Katrina. Anees Bazmee also led this push.

With Ahmed Khan now taking over directing duties for the third chapter, “Welcome to the Jungle” is shaping up to be an expansive new take on the beloved franchise when it hits theaters on June 26.Apart from Welcome to Jungle, Akshay Kumar also has Haiwaan, co-starring Saif Ali Khan, lined up for release.
