This is how it begins: a new audiobook version Odyssey It was voiced by legendary actor Michael Caine – but not really.

Ken has granted permission to an AI audio company to clone his voice for this project and other upcoming books and articles. You can listen to a fairly convincing sample from AI Caine Odyssey Audiobook trailer below.

This new version of Homer’s epic poem is a 13-hour cinematic production with a full complement of AI voices, music and sound effects. The project reportedly took only six weeks to produce. The project is released for free via the company’s ElevenReader app.

The company hopes to capitalize on interest in Christopher Nolan Odysseywhich will be in theaters on July 17. Nolan has cast the British actor in many of his blockbuster films, including his own.
