“The actress who was playing his mother has just given birth to a baby,” Salman Khan told 19-year-old Dia Mirza that she will play his mother on screen one day.

Dia Mirza won hearts the moment she made her debut in Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein opposite R Madhavan, after winning the beauty pageant. Over the years, Dia continues to be loved and remembered for her debut film.

She has starred in many other films, and while some of them may not have been exceptionally good, they are still important to her. In a recent interaction with Farah Khan for the latter’s vlog on her YouTube channel, Dia showed off her Mumbai property which she bought with her earnings from the film ‘Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge’, which starred Salman Khan.During the conversation, Farrah recalled a particularly chaotic filming experience.

“Do you remember we were shooting a song and a crowd of about 2 thousand people gathered. How we got out of there and went back to the hotel.” Farah then recalled filming a song sequence in the fort, saying: “We shot that song in half a day. She was also changing clothes very quickly, behind a tree, and there were no pickup trucks. Salman was changing clothes just standing there.

When Farah suggested that Dia meet Salman on screen, the actor replied: “But now he will work with girls…” Farah interrupted her, saying: “No, he is already working with Chitrangada.”

Dia then shared a funny memory related to Salman from the early days of her career. “But he told me in my first movie that one day you would play my mother,” she said, laughing. Recalling the incident, she added, “I was 19. Rajpal Yadav, SK, and I were sitting and waiting for a take, when I saw the actress who was playing his mother, and she had just given birth to a baby. So I said she must be very young, she is playing your mother, and he said don’t worry, it will happen to you too.”

Farah continued the joke by saying: “If there is a mother’s role in the singer Bhoomi, Salman, just tell me.” Later in the vlog, Farah teased her cook Dilip, saying, “She will play Salman Khan’s mother in a project.” “At the moment, no,” he replied.I asked Farah: Does she look like his mother? “She will look like his younger sister,” Dileep replied.“Why don’t you look like his heroine, why do you have to say your younger sister?” Farah sarcastically.

The conversation eventually turned to Diya’s home and the importance it held for her. Talking about the property, the actor said, “This is my place of refuge. When the city starts making too much noise, I run and come here. This is my refuge. This is the first house that any woman in my family has owned. No one has ever owned a house.”

I was 19 when I bought it with the money I earned from Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge. The two also fondly remembered the shooting of the popular song ‘Bindiya Chamke, Choodi Khanke’ in Jaipur, which was choreographed by Farah Khan.It was released in 2002 and directed by him
