Bijendra Nath Tiwari, brother of popular Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi, has been admitted to hospital with serious injuries after being attacked with “sharpened weapons” in Bihar.According to IANS, Bijendra has been admitted to a Patna hospital for treatment. The agency posted a video of his arrival at the hospital, and wrote in a tweet, “Bijendra Nath Tiwari was seriously injured in an attack with a sharp weapon related to an old dispute. He was transferred to Patna to receive advanced treatment, while the police formed a special team and launched raids to arrest the accused.”

According to Navbharat Times, the attack took place in Bilsand village under the jurisdiction of Madhopur police station.
The report claims that the attackers targeted Tiwari over a “long-standing dispute”.
The report further claims that the attackers, who were lurking in the village, “suddenly attacked him with sharp weapons.” The attack left him seriously injured, prompting his family members to transfer him to Sadr Model Hospital to receive emergency treatment. While providing first aid, doctors described his condition as “extremely critical.”

Therefore, the medical team referred him to Patna for advanced medical care. He is currently undergoing treatment under the supervision of specialist doctors.Meanwhile, a special police team has been formed to identify and arrest those responsible for the attack.
