‘Maa Inti Bangaram’ marks Samantha’s return to the big screen after a gap of three years. The action comedy film opened to strong response at the box office. The film has crossed the Rs 25-crore mark worldwide within its first two days, reports Sacnilk.

Actress Nayanthara expressed her happiness for Samantha through an Instagram story. The ‘Patriot’ actor shared a poster of the film and wrote, “So happy for you sammmm @samantharuthprabhuoffl, you deserve all the love and success.. Huge congratulations to the entire MIB team (sic).” Samantha later reshared the post, replying: “Darling nayan (sic).”

After the positive response, Samantha shared a heartfelt message on Instagram.
She wrote, “Seeing a film open so well on the first day is very humbling and means the world to us. So happy to see the day when audiences embrace a film regardless of whether it stars men or women. It’s nice to see people coming out wholeheartedly – from the young to the old – to cheer for the film’s release. And the most encouraging thing of all is to see women contributing so much on the opening day.”

The box office shows growth over the weekend
On its third day, ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’ has collected a net collection of Rs 10.10 crore in India. This represents an increase of 32 percent compared to Saturday’s collection of Rs 7.65 lakh crore.The total net collection in India has now reached Rs 23.10 lakh crore. The total figure in India stands at Rs 26.69 lakh crore. The film opened in 2,965 shows on Sunday according to Sacnilk.
