After a two-year wait, it’s finally time to return to Westeros for Season 3 of “House of the Dragon.” The hit fantasy series returns for its highly anticipated next chapter that takes fans into the heart of the brutal and bloody Targaryen Civil War.The HBO fantasy drama, which debuted in 2022 as a prequel to Game of Thrones, will premiere its third season on June 21 (June 22 in India). Like its predecessor, the series, which features some of the largest and most epic battle sequences in television history, reportedly required an extensive production schedule, which contributed to the lengthening gap between seasons.

The new season will begin with an episode lasting more than an hour.
According to reports, the premiere will include the “Battle of the Gastrula”, one of the most destructive and violent conflicts in the history of Westeros. The battle is expected to be a pivotal moment in the ongoing “Dance of the Dragons” story, which has driven the series since its debut.
House of the Dragon Season 3 Eight episodes have been confirmed
Like the second season, the upcoming installment will consist of eight episodes. Showrunner Ryan Condal previously explained that the series switched from the 10-episode format used in its first season to an eight-episode structure in an attempt to improve pacing and storytelling.
