Aamir Khan has finally spoken about his upcoming wedding to his long-time partner Gauri Sprat. Amid growing speculation surrounding the couple’s marriage plans, the actor confirmed that they are set to tie the knot on July 5, 2026.
The actor revealed that the ceremony will be an intimate affair that will only be attended by family members and close friends.Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Aamir confirmed the wedding date and shared that the couple is opting for a simple registered marriage instead of a grand celebration.“It will be a very simple registered marriage at home, with both families and close friends only. We both want to keep it very basic,” he said.While the guest list is still under wraps, it is not yet clear whether some of Aamir’s close friends from the film, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and other Bollywood pals, will be part of the celebrations.
“We are ready to take our relationship to the next level.”
In an earlier interview with Variety India, Aamir spoke candidly about his decision to marry Gauri and explained why the couple now feels ready to formalize their relationship.“Yes, that’s true. But we both feel now that we are ready to take our relationship to the next level,” he said.
The actor also shared that he already considers himself deeply committed to Gauri and sees marriage as a natural progression of their bond.
