Tom Hanks About some of the mistakes he made in his career
While discussing his career in an interview with The Rest Is Entertainment, the popular actor reminisced about his career and shared how each film he has done holds a different meaning for him. While some lived up to the mark, many other projects fell short. He started by saying that all his films have been a great experience for him, regardless of their outcome. “I don’t watch these movies after the first time, because they never change, and there are movies that have moments in them [them] Which I can’t watch because I didn’t get there.
And sometimes those are the big moments. I simply didn’t get there. i know that. I was confused by a number of things.
Tom Hanks admits he finds it difficult to watch Cast Away
He recalls one of his most famous works, “Cast Away,” in which the plane he was on, with a lot of FedEx packages, crashed on a barren island. From making friends with a ball to rescue, the movie was a great experience for him. However, his reunion scene with Kelly Frears, played by the one and only Helen Hunt, is one he never wants to watch again.
As for why, he offered more details and shared, “Chuck comes back to Kelly’s house, gives her back her watch, and there’s a moment where I think I’m not there. It’s all a transformation for me. I do this gesture that I think is false, and it’s me and it’s not Chuck. If the movie came out, I would get up and leave the room before this scene came out.”
“Hanks also added that he did not realize he had made a mistake until after the film was finished and he was watching the finished product.
However, by then it was too late to do anything about it.
