“I was devastated,” Cathy said, recalling the intense sadness she felt after receiving the news.

The grieving mother says she initially struggled to believe the reports were true.

“I let out this guttural scream,” she told the outlet, describing a moment of pain that sent her running into her backyard in disbelief.

Davy died on June 16 after suffering complications from meningitis and a severe blood infection that led to sepsis and multiple organ failure.

She was reportedly hospitalized earlier this month while suffering from malnutrition.

She also provided Chihiro’s English voice Spirited away She has appeared in cult classics such as Donnie Darko and HBO’s Big love.

The tragedy is compounded by a claim by Chase’s former manager, John Ryan, who says she “went too far” to collect the millions she was owed from her work at Lilo & Stitch.

Despite her amazing success in the industry, the actress has reportedly endured years of personal struggles.

According to her mother, Davy has become increasingly difficult to locate in recent years.

Kathy L said Daily Mail That she spent countless nights searching online databases and missing persons resources in hopes of finding her daughter.

“As a mother, you don’t give up on your child,” Cathy said.

“I was hoping you would come home.”

The interview also addressed allegations that Cathy abandoned her daughter while struggling with addiction and homelessness.

She vehemently denied the allegations, insisting that she never stopped searching for Davy and never gave up hope that they would eventually reconnect.

According to reports, Davey’s downward spiral began years ago following a motorcycle accident that led to the use of painkillers and eventually substance abuse issues.

Ryan also claimed that addiction played a major role in the actress’s disappearance from public life.

In the days following her death, questions also emerged regarding an online fundraiser set up by a man who identified himself as Davey’s friend, Roy Hernandez.

Ryan publicly questioned the legitimacy of the fundraiser, claiming that Davy already had financial resources available through a SAG trust account. Hernandez emphasized that any money raised will go to cover memorial expenses and honor Davey’s memory.

Our condolences to all of Devig’s loved ones during this very difficult time.
