‘At that time I was reckless, today I am more responsible’: Mimmo Chakraborty opens up about growing up amid box office success of ‘Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past’

‘Haunted’ actor Mimmu Chakraborty recently shared how his outlook on life and career has changed over the years. The actor shared that time, experience, and personal growth helped him become more focused and responsible.

Looking back on his early years in the film industry, the child star admitted that he saw success differently when Haunted was first released. Today, he believes the achievements are just part of a larger journey. For him, every achievement brings new challenges and new goals. The actor explained that his priorities have evolved significantly. Instead of focusing on success, he now prefers to focus on what comes next.

Success means greater responsibility

Speaking to IANS about the response to ‘Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past’, Memoh said the audience deserves praise for the film’s success. At the same time, he stressed that artists must continue to push themselves towards creativity.Sharing his thoughts, Memo said: “When the first Haunted came, my answer was different. Today, it’s about what’s next? What do we do next? Because we all know the journey of echoes of the past.”

We knew we had to put this in front of people. Today, success is thanks to the audience. But as actors and filmmakers, it’s about what do we do next? I think I’ll go home, put on my pajamas, pet my dogs, and spend some time with my wife.

I think nothing has changed. Nothing has to change. I think success makes you more responsible.”

From reckless to responsible

Mimoh also spoke frankly about how his personality has changed over time.

He admitted that he was more impulsive during the early stages of his career. According to the actor, maturity has helped him develop a more measured approach to both life and career decisions. He now prefers to focus on long-term growth rather than immediate achievements. Reflecting on this transformation, Mimoh said: “I think I have become more responsible now.

At that time I was reckless, but today I have become more responsible. Today I say, okay, I did this.

We achieved this. What do we achieve next? What are we trying to achieve? I think that’s where I am today.”

Haunted franchise It remains no matter what

Memoh started his acting career with Jimmy in 2008. He later gained fame with the movie “Haunted – 3D”, which became known for introducing 3D stereoscopic horror to Indian cinema. The actor has remained closely associated with the franchise over the years.
