The Center is set to launch the 23rd batch of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme on June 20, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to transfer the financial assistance to eligible farmers during an event in Tarakeshwar, Hooghly district in West Bengal.

As per official information, over 9.44 crore beneficiaries will get the next installment under the scheme. The government will spend around it $18,880 crore through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), through credit $2000 directly into the bank accounts of eligible farmers.
The batch is expected to be released at 3:45 pm during the Prime Minister’s program in West Bengal.
Under the PM-KISAN scheme, eligible farmer families will receive income support worth US$1.5 million $6,000 pounds annually, paid in three equal installments $2000 each.
The previous 22nd batch was released on March 13, 2026, and benefited over 9.35 crore farmers. The government had spent $18,640 crore under the scheme, including financial assistance to over 2.15 lakh crore beneficiaries.
Farmers can use the ‘Know Your Status’ feature available on the PM-KISAN portal to check payment details, eligibility status, Aadhaar linkage, land sowing information and e-KYC status.

How to check 23 PM Kisan installment status
Farmers can follow these steps to check whether the last payment has been deposited or not:
Step 1: Visit the official PM-KISAN portal at pmkisan.gov.in.
Step 2: Under the “Farmer’s Corner” section, click on the “Know Your Status” option.
Step 3: Enter the registration number and security code displayed on the screen.
Step 4: A One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile number.
Step 5: Enter the OTP to view the payment and payee status.
How can self-registered farmers and CSC farmers check their status
Farmers who have registered themselves or through Common Service Centers (CSCs) can also check their details online.
Step 1: Visit www.pmkisan.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on “Self-Registered Farmers/CSC Farmers Status” under the Farmers Corner section.
Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar number and security code to check the status.

How to check list of PM Kisan beneficiaries
To verify that your name appears in the list of beneficiaries:
Step 1: Visit the PM-KISAN portal.
Second Step: Click on the “List of Beneficiaries” option within the Farmers Corner.
Step 3: Select State, District, Sub-District, Block and Village.
Step 4: Click on “Get Report” to view the list of beneficiaries for the selected village.
