Confirming the news to Deccan Chronicle, the actor revealed that he will marry Gauri in a simple ceremony instead of a lavish wedding.

“It will be a very simple registered marriage at home, with both families and close friends only. We both want to keep it very basic,” he said in a statement to the media.This update comes weeks after the actor first confirmed the news to Variety India, and his plans to get married again.
He said: “The news of the marriage is true. It is July 5.” While he admitted that marriage was not their top priority, he later said: “But we both now feel that we are ready to take our relationship to the next level.”

With the wedding just two weeks away, the actor has reportedly stepped away from his professional commitments to focus on preparing for the big day. After the wedding, Aamir is expected to return to the sets of Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘3 Idiots 2’, the sequel to the 2009 film ‘3 Idiots’.
According to reports, the film is set to revisit the beloved story and its characters – Rancho, Farhan and Raju. According to reports, the film’s story will begin about 10 years after the events of the first film.
