Priyanka Chopra will soon appear on the big screen in ‘Varanasi’, one of the biggest and most expensive Indian films. While gearing up for the film’s release, the actress, in her recent interview, revealed her upcoming work projects, including her international ones.

While the star is expected to soon begin work on her next film with Orlando Bloom, she has teased a new project is on the cards.

Priyanka Chopra teases next Angelina Jolie

Speaking to Fortune India about her future plans, Chopra revealed that she will be working with Angelina Jolie on a project. However, she stopped short of sharing any details about whether the project will be a film, an ad, or a charity concert.Priyanka also named Jolie among a group of women in Hollywood that she finds particularly “inspiring.”

Along with the Oscar-winning star, she has chosen actresses Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek as actors and friends whose careers she admires.

Priyanka is currently shooting the last few schedules of SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi, a project she has described as one of the most ambitious projects of her career. “What we are trying to do is something very ambitious and on a scale that we have not seen in a very long time. I am very fortunate and excited not just for India but also for the world, because this is going to be a huge global release and people will get to know what we have been working on for the last three years,” Chopra said.

Talking about life on the sets of Hyderabad, she said, “Shooting on the sets of Varanasi is angry and funny. The families of all the actors are around. It’s fun, we laugh and watch the IPL matches, but there is also tremendous focus, rehearsals, and focused work.”Considering the growth of her career over the years, Chopra acknowledged the greater creative control she now has. “When I started, the scripts weren’t meant for me. My husband Nick (Jonas) recently said (quoting singer Beyoncé) ‘You’re on the other side of your sacrifice,'” she said. “I can now pick and choose and create my own projects,” she added.Internationally, Chopra is also attached to director Mira Nair’s biographical drama ‘My Life’.
