EETimes Verdict
ETimes’ review of the film says: “Swasika does the heaviest lifting. Her role is one of reaction, all desperation and sudden outbursts, anger just a default setting on the face with a lot of simmering underneath, and she brings out that inner side wonderfully.”
Vijay Antony only properly arrives in the concluding phase, as a sugarcane worker named Ezhumalai who remains unfazed by the chaos around him. The part is simpler, but much more expressive than it usually is, really alive in the face.
Ajay Deshane is good as the impulsive son who needs to grow up quickly, and Balaji Sakthivel clearly relishes being a troublemaker.Disclaimer: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
