Proximity Media Television, the company founded by Ryan Coogler, his wife Zinzi Coogler, and Seif Ohanian, has signed a multi-year deal to develop series exclusively for Netflix. Proximity’s previous overall TV deal at Disney expired earlier this year.
Coogler won an Oscar this year for writing Sinnersfor which he also received a nomination for his direction as well as for Best Picture.
