'Rape gangs': British MP calls for deportation of Pakistani men linked to grooming gangs

British MP Robert Lowe read testimonies from victims of the alleged grooming gang scandal in the UK, claiming that many survivors said race and religion played a role in the abuse they suffered.Speaking about the testimonies, Lowe read one victim’s account: “Comments were constantly made suggesting that white girls, Christian girls, were seen as having lower morals or lower values, while some men described Muslim girls as having dignity and a higher moral standing. These comparisons were used to justify the way I was treated and to further humiliate and control me.”
