How tall is Vice President J.D. Vance? His response to 'The View' hosts' surprise as he enters the studio

J.D. Vance’s rise surprised the hosts of The View when he sat down with them Tuesday on his book tour.

J.D. Vance became the first Republican vice president to appear on ABC’s The View, hosted by the seven women hostile to Donald Trump’s administration — aside from Donald Trump’s lawsuit against ABC.

“It may be the optimist in me, but I fundamentally believe that most people — not everyone, but most people — even if I don’t agree with them, you should try to have a conversation with them,” Vance told Fox News of his decision to sit down with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sarah Haines, Alyssa Farrah Griffin and Ana Navarro.“My job as vice president of the United States is not just to talk to the people who voted for me, but to talk to the people who didn’t vote for me,” Vance said.

“We’ll go and try to have a good conversation. I hope they meet me halfway. I’m a little skeptical, but we’ll see,” he added. But when he entered the studio on Tuesday, his height became the number one talking point with Joy Behar saying she was surprised to see J.D. Vance’s height. J.D. Vance smiled and said that most people see his giant head on TV, not his height.

J.D. Vance’s height is around 6 feet 2 inches. As the talk show began, J.D. Vance was asked how he went from being a Trump hater to his running mate and then vice president.

Vance said he was wrong about Donald Trump. “When you make predictions and those predictions turn out to be wrong, you have to ask yourself, well, what made me wrong about that? What did I not understand or appreciate? For example, I said that Donald Trump’s economic policies would not lead to wage growth.

They did this in the first semester. This was actually a major, big thing! I said we couldn’t bring back any of those factory jobs because I had kind of resigned myself to the idea that those jobs were going away, but actually, Donald Trump, you saw a boom in manufacturing during that administration! So there’s a certain point where you say, you know, I’ve made predictions about this. I ended up being wrong. “In politics and anything, I think it’s important to just say, ‘I got some things wrong and I was wrong about him,'” Vance said.
