Phillip DeFranco has announced that he plans to give away the entire $1 million prize he won in the recent MrBeast YouTuber Challenge. The longtime content creator shared the news in a TikTok video on June 16, saying the money would go to his subscribers instead of staying in his own pocket.

According to DeFranco, 40 people will each receive $25,000, though he has yet to explain how fans can enter the giveaway.The surprise announcement came shortly after DeFranco was announced as the winner of MrBeast’s 50 YouTubers Challenge. DeFranco admitted that he never expected to win the competition and was shocked when he was invited in the first place. He said he originally joined because he wanted to see what MrBeast’s production looked like behind the scenes, thinking he would likely be eliminated early in the competition.

DeFranco pointed to comments made by fellow creator JC Caylen, who said during a live stream that he was allegedly offered money not to vote for DeFranco.DeFranco said he had no idea of ​​any alleged attempts to influence the vote while the challenge was taking place.
