Competitors Season 3 has officially begun, unveiled on Disney+ and Hulu on Tuesday to the delight of fans of the hit drama. The Emmy and BAFTA International Award-winning series, starring David Tennant, Alex Hassell, Aidan Turner, Bella McLean, Nenessa Williams, Victoria Smurfit, Claire Rushbrook and Danny Dyer, among others, is based on the popular Rotshire Chronicles novels by Dame Jilly Cooper.
A 12-episode third season was given the green light before season two returned in November with six more episodes.
The drama, produced by Happy Prince, part of ITV Studios, is a Hulu original in the US and a Disney+ original in other parts of the world. “As the dust settles after Season 2’s scandalous revelations, we see the stakes become higher and alliances more fragile, with nothing staying buried for too long,” said Disney+ from the UK. “New romances blossom, old flames reignite, and shocking secrets will be spilled in this third installment. The first part of the second season of Competitors It premiered in May, becoming Disney+’s biggest original show in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in the United Kingdom and Ireland, based on views of the premiere three days later.

The third season of Rivals will be produced by the duo, Olivier Award-winning playwright Laura Wade (Riot Club) and Felicity Blunt. the Competitors The series was commissioned by Maysoon.
