The NBA champion New York Knicks will get more late-night spotlight on NBC this week.
After a number of team members appeared on Monday The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallontwo Knicks players — Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby — will be guests Tonight’lead, Late Night with Seth Meyerslater in the week.
Towns will be one of Myers’ guests on Tuesday, marking his second time Late night. He previously appeared on the show in January. Anunoby — who won by less than two seconds in Game 4 of the NBA Finals — will be a first-time guest on the show on Wednesday.
Naturally, the Knicks’ late-night appearance comes in the days after the team won its first NBA championship since 1973. The Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs in five games to break a title drought that had lasted nine years longer than Late nightwhich debuted in 1982 with David Letterman as host, was there.
Towns joins the guest lineup for Tuesday Late night Which will also feature Olivia Wilde, Stephen Root and Chef Ham Al-Waili. Kerry Washington and Alden Ehrenreich are scheduled to appear on Wednesday’s show with Anunoby.
on Tonight show On Monday, Towns and Anunoby will be joined by Finals MVP Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Mikal Bregues — the Knicks’ most frequent starter this season — as well as coach Mike Brown and other members of the team. The Wu-Tang Clan, which performed at halftime of Game 4 of the Finals, will be the musical guest, and the studio audience will consist of Knicks fans who have not scored tickets to watch the NBA Finals in person.
