Engineering aspirants of Assam can now check their performance as ASTU has released the provisional answer key for Assam CEE 2026. The answer key allows candidates to compare answers, calculate expected marks and report discrepancies within the given schedule. Objections submitted by June 16 will be reviewed before the final answer key and results are released.
Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) will release the provisional answer key for Assam Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 on the official website, astu.ac.in, today, June 14, 2026.
As per the official notification, aspirants will be able to challenge the answer keys by June 16, 2026, at 6 pm. The Assam CEE exam was completed from 11 am to 2 pm across designated centers in the state. With the release of the provisional key, candidates can now compare their answers recorded in the OMR sheet with the officially published answers for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.Candidates were advised to follow the official marking pattern while calculating marks.
Under the system, four marks are given for each correct answer, while one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. Unattempted questions do not attract any penalty.Candidates who identify discrepancies or believe that the posted answer is incorrect may submit objections within the specified timeline. The objection facility became available immediately after the answer key was released on June 14.The university has clarified that the Assam CEE 2026 results will be compiled strictly on the basis of the final verified answer key.
Any amendments accepted during the objection review process will be incorporated before the outcome is prepared.
