'Blast' 18th Day Box Office Revenue: Arjun Sarja Jumps 17.3%; India net stands at Rs 46.65 lakh crore

Arjun Sarja’s action thriller ‘Blast’ continued its theatrical run with a strong jump in its collections on the third Sunday.According to Sacnilk, Blast has collected a net collection of Rs 2.65 crore in India on the 18th day.

The latest figure represents a 17.3 percent increase over the previous day’s profit of Rs 2.26 lakh crore.

India collections cross Rs 46 lakh crore

‘Blast’ has collected a net collection of Rs 46.65 crore in India. The film’s total collection in India currently stands at Rs 53.64 crore.The action drama recorded its latest collection of 2,038 shows across the country. ‘Blast’ has completed its first week with a collection of Rs 25.78 crore.Overseas territories contributed a total of Rs 14.05 lakh crore during its operation.

‘Blast’ has now reached a worldwide gross of Rs 67.69 crore. The Tamil version remained the clear leader on the 18th day. It has netted Rs 2.45 crore. The Telugu version added a net Rs 20 lakh to the balance. Together, the two issues helped push the total net collection in India to Rs 46.65 lakh crore.The Tamil version recorded an overall occupancy of 29.25 percent on Sunday. The government collections showed Tamil Nadu in the lead with a total of Rs 1.95 lakh crore.

Kerala followed with a total of Rs 70 lakh. Karnataka contributed Rs 18 lakh, while Andhra Pradesh and Telangana added a total of Rs 20 lakh.ETimes awarded the film four stars out of five and praised several aspects of the production. The review stated, “The acting and the performances of most of the actors, including the younger Neela, were on point, which helps with the writing. The action blocks may feel a bit repetitive, and some choices like cutting to different emotions in the middle of an important action scene might put us off, but such concerns can be forgiven.”
