According to The Indian Express, Mouni spoke about the rumors during a conversation with Monica Sharma on her YouTube channel. When asked about the biggest rumor she heard about herself in Bollywood, Mouni replied: “Oh, I’m gay.”The actress then spoke about the people who helped her after her breakup with Sooraj.

“I feel so lucky because I’ve always had friends and family who have stood by me like a rock,” she said.Mouni credited her friends for staying close to her through different stages of life. She said: My friends are the best. She also said women should focus on building emotional and financial strength. “You have to be emotionally and financially independent,” she said.Mouni added that her life has witnessed many highs and lows. She described it as a “roller coaster ride” and said that the struggles, happy days and sad days are all part of life.

Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar Separation Statement

Mouni and Suraj got married in 2022 after knowing each other for four years. They announced their separation in 2026 through a joint statement on Instagram. Their statement said they have decided to separate and are taking time to deal with matters “privately and amicably.”The statement also stated that false stories were circulating about their personal lives. The former couple said they chose separate paths with respect and understanding.Suraj later issued another statement after more rumors surfaced online. He denied speculation about alimony, disputes and any third party. “There is no third party involved,” he wrote.The report added that Mouni talked a lot about her relationship with her friends. Her friendship with actor Disha Patani often garners attention on social media, and Mouni recently wished Disha on her birthday.
