Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has condemned the alleged derogatory remarks against Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav’s daughter. CM Yogi said that derogatory comments made against anyone’s daughter are a disgrace and called for immediate action on the issue, while speaking at an event in Azamgarh on Saturday.

Yogi announced that he had directed the police to register an FIR in the matter, but also advised Akhilesh to “control” his party workers before passing any additional illicit comments.

Yogi Adityanath condemns

“Recently I saw that some people were making comments on social media against Akhilesh Yadav ji’s daughter,” he said at the rally. “As soon as I learned about this, I immediately asked the police to register an FIR against her.”

He urged the Prime Minister to maintain dignity in public discourse, especially towards someone’s daughter.

He added, “A daughter is a daughter. We were raised on the values ​​that the daughter in the village is everyone’s daughter and the sister in the village is everyone’s sister. We did not make any discrimination at all.”

The Prime Minister then made remarks directed at Akhilesh’s response to the incident. He said, “Akhilesh ji, you advise others, but you must also advise your followers and workers to keep their language restrained. You need to teach your people too. It would be better if you make them understand, and if they still don’t understand, hand them over to us – we will make them understand properly.”

Akhilesh Yadav’s daughter is being trolled

A June 9 post from a social media handler operating under the name of accused Bharat Kumar Patel first sparked controversy when “false, fraudulent and misleading” allegations and objectionable remarks were made against Yadav’s daughter Aditi. The post linked the victim to theft and criminal activities besides sharing a distorted photo aimed at damaging her public image, an official told news agency PTI.

Patel has now been booked along with two others accused of posting offensive comments in response to the original post – Nageshwar Singh Baghel and Vinod Kumar Yadav. The FIR has been registered under Sections 79 and 336 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Act and sections of the IT Act.

Police have initiated action in some areas, including Kanpur, and have registered cases in this regard. The cybercrime police are looking into the case.
