A Lucknow to Delhi IndiGo flight carrying around 180 passengers was delayed on Friday after a bomb threat triggered a security response before its scheduled departure.

Authorities later found that the threat was a hoax, but the plane remained on the ground while mandatory security measures were implemented. The flight was scheduled to take off from Lucknow to Delhi at 10.45 am, news agency PTI reported.
Sources told PTI that the flight crew received information about a possible bomb threat on board shortly before departure. After the alert, the plane was stopped at the apron instead of proceeding with take-off.
