Spanish police have arrested a 32-year-old Tunisian accused of sexually assaulting three British tourists at a hotel in Valencia, including two young women aged 18 and 19.Authorities arrested the suspect Tuesday afternoon after two alleged victims reported a series of incidents at the hotel.
The Sun newspaper reported that the man pretended to be a hotel employee before approaching the two women.The suspect allegedly opened the door for the two British tourists and convinced them to follow him to the bathroom. Once they are inside, prevent them from leaving by grabbing their arms. Investigators say he groped the 19-year-old woman and tried to kiss the younger tourist while putting his hand under her skirt.The women later reported that the man followed them into the women’s bathroom area, took off his clothes and began showering.Police arrested the suspect shortly after 1:30pm on Tuesday following complaints.After officers arrived, a third British tourist, 26, told police she believed she had also been targeted by the same man.She alleged that while brushing her teeth in the bathroom Sunday morning, the suspect approached her from behind, wrapped his arms around her and began rubbing himself on her without her consent.Police are now investigating all three allegations and are working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incidents.The identities of the women were not revealed.
