CBS Media Ventures hopes Jonathan Scott can rehabilitate daytime talk television.
Later this month, Scott, one of Royal brothers (the other being his twin, Drew), is recording a pilot episode for what is currently called better! With Jonathan Scott. Maybe we can do better (!) than this working title.
better! It aims to “inspire audiences with new ideas for living better, all while having fun,” as the slogan says. She says there will be segments of interviews with “well-known guests” and “lifestyle experts.” The daytime talk show will be under consideration for syndication starting in the fall of 2027.

In 2025, he led the acquisition of smart home technology company Phyn and, with Drew, launched BrandJourney, a licensing platform for home and lifestyle brands. We might as well add “daytime talk show host” to all that.
