More about Trevor Dietz

The popular manager was a regular face for Fontaines DC fans and was a much-loved honorary member of the Irish group. In 2016, he discovered Fontaines DC while booking artists at Workman’s Club in Dublin. The band signed with him in the same year and later released their debut album, Dogrel. The band is signed under the same label that also manages bands like Arctic Monkeys and Royal Blood, to name a few.In his old MIX Course appearance in 2019, Dietz spoke candidly about what it was like when he first met the group. He shared: “I wouldn’t have worked with the band if they didn’t have high expectations and huge dreams. If other people had heard the conversation that day, they would have said: ‘Oh my God, these guys are crazy, it’s not going to happen’, but I knew we could go beyond Ireland with this. So, first and foremost, you need a band that shares your vision and is reliable, accountable and honest.”

Dietz has been with the group since he signed them exactly 10 years ago, and continues to be a close friend of all the members as well.
