Malayalam star Mohanlal’s ‘Drishyam 3’ directed by popular director Jeethu Joseph is released in theaters on May 21. After generating good numbers during the initial days, the film lagged at the box office.
On Monday, it recorded its lowest tally of Rs 50 lakh.According to trade analyst Sacnilk, ‘Drishyam 3’ has collected over Rs 50 lakh across 743 shows. The main collection comes from the Malayalam version where it has added Rs 49 lakh and the rest is from the Telugu version.Post Monday, the film’s total India gross collections stand at Rs 124.05 crore and its total India net collections stand at Rs 106.93 crore so far.
Breakdown of wisdom collection today
The film witnessed huge collections during its first week as it grossed over Rs 10 crore during the first weekend.
Later, they ended the first week with Rs 81.95 crore.During the second week, the film’s collection saw a slight decline as it grossed Rs 4-5 crore during the second weekend. It then witnessed another decline which took the second week numbers to Rs 20.68 crore.Meanwhile, in the third week, on the 16th, the film added Rs 80 lakh, then it made Rs 1.30 lakh on Saturday and added Rs 1.70 lakh on Sunday. Now, on Monday he added Rs 50 lakh.The film has grossed Rs 111.50 crore in gross collections, taking its total worldwide collection to Rs 235.55 crore.
Theater occupancy
The film achieved an overall occupancy rate of 13.75%, while morning shows enjoyed a occupancy rate of 6.40%. Afternoon viewing increased to 11.40% and evening viewing then dropped to 9.70%. Finally, it peaked at 12.20% overnight.
