Varun Dhawan
.In a clip that has since gone viral on social media, Tanmay playfully referred to the ongoing feud while praising Varun’s work ethic.“Varun, anyone who has worked with you before has always said that even though you are a big star in Bollywood, you are still professional, committed and reliable. Which by the way is exactly the kind of actor that Farhan Akhtar is looking for now. I don’t know, maybe you should…”This remark immediately sparked laughter from everyone present, including Varun himself.
The joke quickly sparked debate online, with some users interpreting it as a subtle criticism of Ranveer Singh, while others felt that Tanmay was simply making fun of the highly publicized tensions between the actor and Farhan Akhtar. The controversy surrounding the film ‘Don 3’ began when reports emerged that Ranveer had exited the project due to creative differences with the makers of the film. Various reports indicated that the actor wanted the film to take a darker and more violent direction. Others claimed he was frustrated by repeated delays and the lack of a final script. What started as speculation about a cast change soon escalated into a larger industrial dispute.

Ranveer subsequently filed a legal notice with FWICE, following which the organization withdrew its directive. The controversy increased further when reports claimed that Salman Khan intervened to mediate between the two parties due to his close association with the Akhtar family. These reports were later denied, with a clarification emerging that Salman had not contacted Ranveer or Farhan regarding the matter.Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is currently enjoying the theatrical release of ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. Directed by David Dhawan, the film features comedian Mrunal Thakur, Pooja Hegde and Mouni Roy in prominent roles, and has performed consistently at the box office.
