During the same interaction, Tanmay also revisited Varun’s old comparison between Dilwale and Inception, teasing him about the statement.

According to reports, Farhan Akhtar’s company Excel Entertainment has demanded compensation of Rs 45 crore, while the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer.However, the move was met with criticism from several film and television organizations, many of which publicly supported the actor. Ranveer subsequently filed a legal notice with FWICE, following which the organization withdrew its directive.The controversy increased further when reports claimed that Salman Khan intervened to mediate between the two parties due to his close association with the Akhtar family. These reports were later denied, with a clarification emerging that Salman had not contacted Ranveer or Farhan regarding the matter.Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is currently enjoying the theatrical release of ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’.
