Suriya’s Karuppu has become one of the strongest performing films at the box office this year. Directed by RJ Balaji, the film received a positive response from the audiences after it released in theatres.The film was also released for Telugu audience under the title ‘Veerabhadrudu’. Now, after a successful theatrical run, the film is gearing up for the next stage with its digital release.

The latest update confirms that ‘Karuppu’ will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video on June 12. The streaming platform announced the release through a social media promotion.
Reports from 123 Telugu also suggest that multiple language options will be available during the broadcast.
Telugu is expected to be among the supported versions.
‘Karuppu’ continues to show his strength in the fourth week
Even after entering its fourth week in theatres, Karuppu continues to maintain a consistent performance at the box office. The film recorded another increase in collections on day 24 and showed that audience interest remains strong.According to Sakneelak, the film has collected around Rs 1.75 crore in India net on its 24th day. This reflects a rise of around 19 per cent over Day 23 collections of Rs 1.47 lakh crore.
‘Karuppu’ has now reached nearly Rs 193.40 crore in net India collections. The total domestic collection currently stands at around Rs 223.54 crore.International markets added nearly Rs 20 lakh on the 24th. This took the total overseas collection to nearly Rs 80.60 lakh crore.The film’s worldwide gross collection currently stands at around Rs 304.14 crore.ETimes gave star Trisha Krishnan 2.5 stars out of 5 and our review said: “What makes Karuppu initially engaging is how entrenched it is in the legal proceedings surrounding the stolen jewelery case involving Indrans and Anagha Maaya Ravi, who play a helpless father and daughter. The first half spends significant time building investment in their desperation, weakness and quest for justice, which in turn gives the film its emotional core and most effective blockbuster: the idea of a common man.” He challenges a God who is forced to live and act like humans.
