The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday released the Exam City Notification Slip for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination scheduled to be held on June 21. Candidates who are scheduled to appear for the National Eligibility Entrance Test can download their slips from the official website. Re-test for NEET UG exam has been called due to paper leakage.

More than 22,000 students appeared for the medical exam on May 3, which was then cancelled.

The re-examination is now scheduled to be held on June 21, based on the announcement by NTA and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The paper leak is currently being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

NEET Re-Exam 2026: How to Download Exam City Voucher

  • Visit the official website: neet.nta.nic.in
  • On the home page, click on the link that reads – View Title and Exam City Update Window for NEET(UG) 2026
  • A new page will open, enter your application number, password, and verification code
  • Your NEET exam city voucher will appear on the screen
  • Download the printout and take it for future reference.

NEET re-exam in pen and paper mode.

As per a public notification issued by NTA, NEET re-examination will be conducted in pen and paper mode from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The test will be conducted in 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.

Admit cards for NEET UG re-examination will be issued later, NTA added. The exam city notification slip informs students of the location of their exam centre.

The testing agency added in a notification that all efforts have been made to give students their first choice of cities.

Strengthening security measures before repeating the exam

For the first time, the Indian Air Force has been tasked with transporting the question papers for the NEET UG re-examination on June 21.

The decision was announced by NTA Director General Abhishek Singh during a virtual meeting. Moreover, the Prime Minister’s Office has also intervened and will oversee security measures.

These measures come in the wake of the paper leak, which sparked widespread uproar across India. Opposition parties, student associations, and others organized protests demanding that those responsible for the incident be held accountable.
