Tollywood superstar Ravi Teja aka Mass Maharaja is gearing up for his upcoming family drama ‘Irumudi’ directed by Shiva Nirvana. Days after the makers of the game released the first teaser, the team has now announced the release date.
Irumudi release date
The makers of the film took to their official X (formerly Twitter) account where they shared a poster of the film and revealed the release date, “This monsoon, it’s a wave of heartwarming emotions in theatres.” The film will be released in theaters on August 21, 2026.The team thanked the audience for the support and assured that the film will be released in Telugu and Tamil. The film will be released in Tamil with the title ‘Irumudikattu’.

Speaking of the teaser, the 1-minute 24-second teaser gives viewers a look at the emotional core of the story. Ravi Teja is seen as a caring father who shares a strong and loving relationship with his daughter. Ravi Teja’s character seems imperfect but has a good heart.The intimate moments between father and daughter became one of the biggest talking points after the glimpse was released.

Apart from Ravi Teja, the film also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar as his wife.
Child actor Baby Nakshathra plays their daughter and is expected to play an important role in the story.The cast includes Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Ramesh Indira, Swasika, Misala Lakshman, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Ramana Bhargav, Kishore Kanchirapalem and Karthik Adusumally. The music of ‘Irumudi’ is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
A Box office struggle ?
Interestingly, August 21 is also the currently announced release date of Nani’s much-awaited film ‘Heaven’. This has sparked discussions about a possible box office clash between the two films.However, recent reports suggest that Paradise may face another delay. If that happens, both films may avoid being released on the same day.
