The reunion of Jayaram and Urvashi is attracting attention
One of the major attractions of the film was the on-screen reunion of Jayaram and Urvashi. ETimes gave the film a rating of 3 stars out of 5. The review highlighted the performances of the lead actors and noted:“The reunion of Jayaram and Urvashi has a direct, easy warmth, and Jayaram in particular holds the film together without overdoing the pacing. Emperuman is shaped so closely to Mysskin’s deadpan route that it barely feels like he’s acting, and the gag about his endless eating of lands is too much of a stretch.”
Yogi Babu, in a smaller part, does his usual dry routine with jokes often at his own expense. No one stretches, no one stumbles.
“The review also noted the film’s overall tone and approach to storytelling.“Nothing here remains, but very little oscillations either, and this balance is reason enough to appear.”Disclaimer: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
