The price of domestic LPG has increased $29 per cylinder, marking the second time in three months that global energy supplies remained affected by the West Asian crisis.

The price of LPG cylinder in Delhi has now been increased to $942 of $913, news agency PTI quoted industry sources as saying. The revised price will take effect from Sunday, June 7.
Earlier last March, cooking gas prices rose $60 per cylinder in Delhi after global energy prices were hit by the US-Iran war.

The rise in domestic LPG cylinder prices even as the government hikes the prices of petrol, diesel, aviation turbine fuel, commercial LPG cylinders and LPG due to limited global supply.
Industry sources told PTI that the increase in domestic LPG prices only partly offset the losses incurred in cooking gas sales. The rise in LPG prices comes amid a broader round of fuel price increases.

Commercial LPG is seeing the biggest rise
Prices of commercial LPG cylinders used by hotels, restaurants and other businesses have witnessed repeated increases in recent months. The last hike in commercial LPG prices was on June 1, when prices were raised $42 per cylinder 19 kg $3,113.
Before that, prices rose $1000 in May $195.5 in April and by $114.5 in March.
