The India Story examines pesticide abuse and corporate accountability

India Story, also titled India Story: Slow Poison, is a powerful national social drama that takes a hard look at the rampant and dangerous misuse of chemicals, with a particular focus on the use of pesticides in agriculture and the resulting controversies. The film raises serious questions about public health and safety standards and the glaring gaps in the regulatory framework intended to protect citizens. Instead, it presents a broader, more troubling narrative, exposing industrial neglect, environmental degradation, and the urgent need for corporate responsibility in a system that has long looked the other way.
