Ram Charan’s latest sports drama release, ‘Peddi’, directed by Pushy Babu Sana and co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, is roaring at the box office with positive to mixed reviews on social media.

The makers revealed that the film has grossed Rs 135 crore on the first day.

Collection makers participate all over the world

On Friday, the production house took to its handle X (formerly Twitter) to announce that the film has grossed over Rs 135.36 crore on its first day. Sharing a poster of the actor online, they wrote, “Box office champ – #PEDDI sir. 135.36 CR+ gross WW on day 1.”

A detailed look at Ram Charan’s film collection

Looking at a more detailed breakdown of the film’s box office collection, it was reported that on Wednesday, during special premieres, the film collected over Rs 18.5 crore across 847 shows and added Rs 51 crore on the first day with 12,412 shows, taking the total Indian collections to Rs 82.49 crore according to trade analyst Sacnilk.

On day 2, as per live numbers, the film is currently running across 2,647 shows and has collected a net collection of Rs 2.79 crore. The majority of the collection comes from Telugu shows with Rs 2.68 crore. Meanwhile, Hindi shows fetch Rs 8 lakh, Kannada shows over Rs 1 lakh, and Tamil shows over Rs 2 lakh.
