Thomas “Sykkuno” returned to Twitch after spending nearly two months away from streaming, and this time he spoke directly about the cheating controversy that has put him at the center of online debate.

During his June 3, 2026 live broadcast titled “IM BACK,” the popular content creator addressed viewers just minutes into the broadcast and shared an update on his personal life and relationships. The streamer, whose real name is Thomas, said he used his time away from the internet to focus on himself and repair the damage caused by his actions. He publicly admitted that he hurt his girlfriend, and said he was deeply sorry for what happened.

Sekono explained that the past few weeks have been difficult but important as he worked on improving himself and rebuilding trust in his relationship.About six minutes into the broadcast, Sekono told viewers:“I’m pretty nervous, as you can guess. Well, as most of you guys know, I’ve been gone for a while, and while I’ve been gone, I’ve been working on myself and repairing the damage I’ve done to my girlfriend and our relationship.

What you did to her was terrible, and for many people, they will never forgive it. I very much regret doing it, and at the time she left, I worked every day to try to make things better.

Sykkuno says he and his girlfriend are happy together after resolving the cheating controversy

As the conversation continued, Sykkuno shared a positive update on the current situation. While he made it clear that everything is not perfect, he said that they have both made progress and are moving forward together. He said:“It has not been easy, but I am happy to share that not everything is perfect, but a lot of improvements have been made.

I can confidently say… We can confidently say that we are doing a much better job. “We are in a position to be happy together, and we are moving in a good direction.”Sekono also thought about how the controversy had changed him. According to the broadcaster, this experience helped him grow and gave him a different perspective on life. He thanked the fans who continued to support him during his absence and also expressed his gratitude to his close friends.“With everything that’s happened, a lot has changed, and I think I’ve grown a lot from it in a lot of ways. I would say that’s the most update I’ve had. It’s going a lot better, and I wouldn’t be back if it wasn’t this way. So, I want to thank you guys for coming, and I’m sorry I’ve been gone for so long. But, yeah, thank you guys, is all I can say. And also, of course, thank you.” All my friends who, you know, still support me.

I don’t know if I would have done it if I didn’t have supportive friends who truly wanted the best for me.The controversy began in April 2026 when female creators, including Himumal, accused Sekono of cheating and manipulation. The situation remained a major topic online for weeks. Later, on May 1, 2026, Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang also attracted attention when he criticized some members of Sykkuno’s fanbase, calling them “toxic” while saying that many people already knew that Thomas was playing a “shy anime boy” character.
